With the help of his brother Custen, Steward started sculpting in 1997, he was still at school at
that time. his main theme were flowers. He likes using fruit serpentine, opal stone and springstone.

His first exposition was the Sanganai Art Caromu Sculptures
Since 2006, he is working at Tsidi Gallery , 66 Airport Road, Hatfield, Harare.
